Auckland Central Hotel - One of Aucklands largest hotels, Y6 were invited to reimagine the new guest room design in preparation for its future rollout. The design team sought to take the guest on a journey, from city to beach, from Auckland to Rangitoto, where structure turns to nature. A combination of materials, colour and texture are subtle hints of this narrative, providing a quiet yet reflective view of the city and its shoreline.
